Anita Marie O'Connor-Morgan, age 68, of Grand Rapids, passed away peacefully at home with her beloved husband and cats by her side on Saturday, October 12, 2024. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, James and Mary O'Connor. Anita is survived by her devoted husband, Dan Morgan (and his daughter, Melissa Morgan and her children, Amber and Calley); her loving brother, Jimmy O'Connor; several cherished cousins, including Kelly and Denise; and her dear friend, Laurie Stein.

Anita dedicated her career to helping others as a speech and language pathologist for the Physically and Otherwise Health Impaired Center Based Program, formerly housed through the Grand Rapids Public Schools. Her passion for her work was matched only by her love for gardening and working in the yard. Anita was also a devoted cat lover, bringing joy and care to her feline companions, and she was a huge Tupac fan.
