Obituary

On Friday August 28, James (Jimmy) Zeeff, 75, was called home by the Lord. He passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. Jim loved his family dearly and he was beloved by them. A proud Navy Veteran, Jim served during the Vietnam war as a radioman. He was an avid water skier for over 60 years. He loved good food, classic cars and corvettes, good jokes, playing with his dogs and spending time with family. He was a real estate broker, was in industrial sales for over 40 years, and enjoyed owning his own conveyor belt business. He had a servant's heart, volunteering to help with the Caledonia High School Bands and Strike Percussion for 8 years. He loved helping others and was always there to support his family. He was preceded by his parents, George and Margaret Zeeff, his sister Mary Tatman, and brother Bob. He is survived by his wife of 50 years Chris, sons Dan (Jenny) and Mark (Corinna), his grandchildren Molly, Micah and Emmie, his brothers Tom (Mary), Mike, George (Linda), Rick (Julie) and Terry Tatman, his brother and sister in law, Scott and Joy McNabb, many nieces and nephews, and his best friend Randy Snyder.

Jim's family would like to invite you to celebrate his life at the Calvary Church Chapel, 707 E Beltline Ave NE, Grand Rapids, MI 49525 on Saturday, September 19th. Visitation will be prior to the service from 10-11am. Memorial service at 11am. Luncheon immediately following the service.
