Jim is a son-in-law of Bob and Marybeth Zaagman and is married to their daughter, Chris. Jim and Chris have three children, Alexander, Abagail, and Anna and are members of Cascade Fellowship CRC. Jim graduated from Calvin College in 1990 with a B.A in Political Science and also served as a Captain in the United States Marine Corps before coming to work at Zaagman Memorial Chapel in 1997. Jim attended Worsham College of Mortuary Science and was licensed in 1998. He also enjoys mountain climbing and spending time with his family.
Corey A. Michael
Corey graduated from Worsham College of Mortuary Science in 2002 and has also attended Ferris State University and Grand Rapids Community College. He is a son-in-law of Bob & Marybeth Zaagman and he is married to his wife, Tammy. They have a daughter, Gabriella; and twins, Max and Mackenzie. Corey is originally from Hart, Michigan.
David Durston
Dave has been with Zaagman Memorial Chapel since June of 2001. He has bachelor's degrees from Alma College and Wayne State University. He lives in Caledonia with his wife, Missy and son, Greyson. When away from work, he enjoys golfing, spending time with his family, and he always has a home project in the works.
Craig VanderWerp
Craig joined Zaagman Memorial Chapel in 2008 after being in the manufacturing industry for most of his working career. He lives on the northeast side of Grand Rapids with his loving wife, Ellen. Prior to joining Zaagman's, Craig attended Worsham College of Mortuary Science in Illinois. He is a racing enthusiast, enjoys collecting cars, golfing, and spending time in his garage.
Scott Adkins
Scott and his wife, Patricia live in Dorr and are both licensed funeral directors. They enjoy travelling together and spending time with their 3 dogs. Scott was born and raised in West Virginia, was a former teacher and has been with Zaagmans since 2018.
Alyssa Ford
Alyssa has been with Zaagman’s since September of 2021. She has a degree in communications and is pursuing a degree through Worsham College of Mortuary Science to become licensed. Alyssa moved from the Upper Peninsula and enjoys being outdoors, visiting her family up north, and exploring Grand Rapids.
Cassandra Koukios
Cassandra began with Zaagman's in 2022. She has an extensive background in the cemetery industry and will be starting classes at Worsham College of Mortuary Science to become a licensed funeral director. She enjoys spending her time with her son, Teddy, and she loves to golf, ski, and hike.
