Obituaries

Grace Yff, aged 79, of Grand Rapids, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 25, 2010 and is now at peace after a three year battle with Leukemia.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Adam; brother, Bernard (Gladys) Elzinga; sister-in-law, Gertrude Yff; and brother-in-law, Don Wiersma.  She is survived by her children, Douglas (Tina) Yff, Daniel (Melanie) Yff, Barbara (Ronald) Bloom; grandchildren, Amy, Bill, Jeff and Lisa; brother, Alvin (Marty) Elzinga; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Peter (Julie) Yff, Sally Wiersma, Robert (Annette) Yff; many nieces, nephews and special friends.  Funeral services will be held Monday 11:00 am at Calvin Christian Reformed Church with Rev. Robert Koornneef officiating.  Visitation will be held at the Zaagman Memorial Chapel, Sunday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm and at the church on Monday from 10 to 11 am prior to the service.  Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Hospice.
