Obituaries

Kathleen G. Luurs (Otte), aged 68, of Grand Rapids, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 surrounded by her loving family.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Gerhardt and Jeannie Otte.  She is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Richard, children, Douglas Luurs, and Crystal (Jeff) Hill, and a very cherished granddaughter, Janie Kay Hill.  Kathy enjoyed sharing holidays with family, gardening, writing letters to her friends, and spending time with her only granddaughter.  Funeral services will be held Saturday 2:00 pm at the Zaagman Memorial Chapel with one hour of visitation prior to the service.
