Obituaries

Vernon James Clarke, aged 92, of Grand Rapids, passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2010.  He was preceded in death by his wife Jacqueline and is survived by sons Randy (Judy) Clarke, and Dennis Clarke; grandchildren, Shelley, Brad, Scott, Ryan, and Lindsey; several great grand children.  Vernon was a graduate of South High School and Davenport College. He served in the Army during WWII  and retired from General Motors as a production supervisor after 41 years of service. In accordance with his wishes, cremation has taken place.
