Obituaries

Cole – Georgia J. Cole, aged 85, of Grand Rapids, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, December 24, 2009.  Georgia was preceded in death by her husband Anthony (Tony) Cole of 61 years.  Georgia is survived by her children, Gini (Jim) Hoffman, Barbara Clauson, Shari (Tom) Stocks, Paula (Robert) Herrmann of Atlanta, MI, and Janice Westberg of Durango, CO; 14 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.  Georgia was a loving wife, devoted mother and grandmother who took great pride in her children, grandchildren and family.  She was a longtime member of Calvary Church.  She served the Lord faithfully and looked forward to greeting her Father with great anticipation.  Funeral services will be held Monday 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Church with Rev. Tom Couch officiating.  Interment Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be held at the Zaagman Memorial Chapel Sunday 3 to 6 p.m. and at church on Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service.  Memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Church Benevolent Fund.
