Obituaries

ENGSTROM – Louise C. Engstrom, aged 97, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, December 22, 2009.  She was preceded in death by her husband Elmer F. Engstrom and her daughter Dion Bierema.  She is survived by her sons, Dale E. (Sharon Friedl) Engstrom and Richard L. (Carol V.) Engstrom; 12 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren; and her son-in-law, John Bierema.  She was a long-time member of Third Reformed Church and a long-time resident of Porter Hills Village.  Funeral services will be held Monday 10:00 a.m. in the Meeting House at Porter Hills (3600 E. Fulton), with Chaplain Melody Johnson officiating.  Interment Greenwood Cemetery.  Visitation will be held Sunday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm at the Zaagman Memorial Chapel.  Memorial contributions may be given to the Porter Hills Benevolence Fund.
