Obituaries

Mrs. Eleanor Vis, age 91, of Kentwood, went home to be with her Lord on Monday, July 30, 2012. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Leonard. She leaves behind and will be deeply missed by her children, Janice and Robert L. Stockreef, and Thomas Lee and MarvaLou Vis; grandchildren, Jeffrey Stockreef, Thomas Robert and Jennifer Stockreef, Michael Lee and Stacy Vis, Michelle Lynn and Jeremy Prickett; and 5 loving great grandchildren. Eleanor was a loving mother and spouse, and was a longtime member at the 1st Church of the Nazarene. She retired from nursing after 30 years at Butterworth Hospital.
