Pat and I were saddened to see Don's picture in the Press, and learn of his death. Don called on me for years when I was Dir. of Dining at Ferris. I also had worked for Gen. Mills from 1957 to 1960 in sales. He was a fine person and I always looked forward to his visits. My condolances to Jean and family. Don will be sorrily missed.

Lori, Bob, Carol and family, We were so sorry to hear of your Dad/Grandfather's passing. He was such a kind and patient man of God. I remember when he was the choir director at Bethany and we had practiced so hard for the cantata only to have a bat fly in and out of the sanctuary spoiling the concert. I could tell your Dad was upset but he kept his cool and we soldiered on. He was also so generous donating the pancake mix every year for the youth group's Thanksgiving Pancake Breakfast - always quietly giving behind the scenes and never asking for recognition. You are all in our thoughts and prayers in the days ahead. Jan and Jim Heeren

We are so sorry to hear of Don's passing. He was very special to us over the 19 years we were privileged to minister with and to him. He was a true man of God and a solid leader in Christ's Church - a loyal servant indeed. Curry always counted and valued him as a mentor and friend. We love you all and wish we could be there. We are praying for you as you walk through the valley. May you experience the presence and comfort of our Lord.
